  10.             The following libirixpmda incidents are known problems.

  12.             612990  In IRIX 6.5.1 the metrics
  13.                     irix.kernel.all.sysioctl and
  14.                     irix.kernel.percpu.sysioctl were added to
  15.                     libirixpmda. However, the counts of iiiiooooccccttttllll(2)
  16.                     calls are not precluded from the
  17.                     irix.kernel.all.sysother and
  18.                     irix.kernel.percpu.sysother metrics as one
  19.                     might expect. Instead, "sysother" includes the
  20.                     number of iiiiooooccccttttllll(2) calls. This was
  21.                     intentionally done so as to preserve the
  22.                     semantics of the Syscalls view for ppppmmmmcccchhhhaaaarrrrtttt(1).
  23.                     The use of the "sysother" metrics is now
  24.                     deprecated and from PCP 2.1 onwards the
  25.                     ppppmmmmcccchhhhaaaarrrrtttt(1) Syscalls view will not use the
  26.                     "sysother" metrics.
